I couldn’t put this book down! Shocking and astonishing life-changing events! I could practically hear the author telling his story to me, the reader, as if I was his best friend. Steve shares the story with so much detail that it pulls you right in to feel like you were there with him the entire time. I was able to imagine (and experience) the full range of emotions he must have felt—betrayal, anger, frustration, confusion, loneliness, relief, closure, happiness, and love. His perseverance and his unconditional love for his dads and family are a true testament of love!
I found myself tearing up or smiling in nearly every chapter. Steve’s tenacity in overcoming the challenges life threw at him is truly remarkable. Though each obstacle was unimaginable, they ultimately shaped him into the strong, successful person he is today—someone who cares deeply for those he loves.
